The software is developed and maintained by Lionel Barnett at the Sackler Centre for Consciousness Science ( SCCS), University of Sussex, supported by the Dr. The toolbox is intended to supersede the popular Granger Causal Connectivity Analysis ( GCCA) Toolbox, and to a large extent subsumes, enhances and extends GCCA functionality. The toolbox uses a novel, accurate and highly efficient approach to numerical computation and statistical inference of Granger causality, conditional and unconditional, in both time and frequency domains, as described in the accompanying reference document. Annotated demonstration scripts are available which may be used as templates to assist in this task.
